Credit Policy
Opening an Account & Payment Terms
- For approved account customers, the following conditions apply:
- New accounts must provide a completed credit application form, available from head office. Credit facilities are subject to approval.
- Accounts overdue by more than 14 days may be placed on hold until payment is received.
- First-time clients must pay their initial order in full prior to shipment. Credit accounts may be granted once approval has been completed.
- Ownership of all goods remains with Finer Embroidery Pty Ltd until payment has been received in full.
Production Timeframes
How Long Orders Take
Typical turnaround times are as follows:
- Artwork: 2–3 working days
- Screen Printing: 7–10 working days
- Embroidery: 7–10 working days
- Badges: 3–4 weeks
- Indent Orders: Approximately 12 weeks from sample approval
All products commence production after artwork approval or receipt of artwork to printer specifications.
Urgent Orders & Freight
Rush Orders & Delivery
- If you need your order sooner, we’ll do our best to assist where possible.
- Urgent orders can be accommodated subject to production capacity, and additional charges will apply.
- All quotations exclude freight costs. Freight will be charged at current carrier rates unless the client provides their own freight account.
Logo Sizes & Colours
Artwork Sizes & Colour Limits
A few important points apply when preparing artwork for production:
If the same design or logo is required in multiple sizes, each size is treated as a separate design. Additional charges may apply for resizing and will be quoted prior.
Cap embroidery has a maximum height of 60mm.
Number of colours per logo:
- Embroidery: Up to 15 colours
- Screen Printing: Up to 4 colours, subject to artwork suitability and registration
Order Changes & Cancellations
- Please check all artwork, quantities and details carefully before approving your order.
- Orders cannot be changed or cancelled once production has commenced.
Unders & Overs
Order Quantity Variations
- As with many custom production processes, a small variation in quantity can occur.
- A variation of +/- 2% is considered acceptable fulfilment of an order. All orders are completed as close as possible to customer requirements.
Products & Returns
- We make every effort to deliver quality products and accurate colour reproduction.
- However, dye lot variations may occur due to manufacturing processes, and suppliers may make product changes without notice.
- Returns are not accepted without prior authorisation.
- Items will not be refunded due to customer error once printed or embroidered. All returned goods must be in original condition.
